Our Iron-On backing is industrial strength, but high heat can damage some synthetic "performance" fabrics. For 100% polyester or moisture-wicking shirts, we recommend using the Sew-On method or using a specialized fabric glue/badge adhesive to prevent heat damage to the garment.
